  • What can I expect on my first visit and how long does it take?
Your first appointment typically takes about 30-45mins. We will gather as much information as possible about your past health, current concerns and your future health goals. While every examination is different based on the person and their specific problem, there are some core tests that give us big picture data about your health. These include: postural examination, Heart Rate Variability, Surface Electromyography, Surface Thermography, Spinal Movement/Stability testing and any other relevant tests.
  • Does getting an adjustment hurt?
It's actually the opposite. We are trained in the most comfortable techniques possible: gentle hands and touch, drop piece tables and hand held adjusting tools. Our goal is to work with your body, not against it. In many cases, people experience immediate relief after an adjustment, especially if the spine has been restricted for a long time.
  • How much will it cost?
The Consultation, Examination and Case Review is $150. The regular check up visits after that are $50. However, similar to the answer above, we can not estimate a total program investment until the comprehensive Consultation and Examination have taken place. From here, we can give you a more in depth answer, coupled with payment options that fit your needs.
  • Is there a minimum age restriction or any other restrictions to coming?
There is no restrictions. In many cases, neurospinal problems can develop early in life or manifest later in life. We can preform an indepth neurological spinal examination at any age. Similar to taking care of your child's teeth, it is encouraged to have your child's spine and nervous system evaluated as soon as possible. an examination does not mean care is required.
  • Once I see a Chiropractor will I have to go forever?
Absolutely not. You are in charge of your care and decide when it starts and stops. There are no contract s here. The Doctor will always give you the best recommendations for your health but will never pressure you into anything. You should consider Chiropractic care for as long as you want to have a spine and nervous system that performs at its best.
  • How many times will I have to come in?
The short answer is, we don't know. The frequency and duration of your care vary greatly but are all based on the same 3 factors: 1. the problem identified 2. how much damage has occured and how long it has been there 3. your goal and objectives We can answer this in more deatil ater your consultation and examination.
  • Is it safe to get an adjustment if I'm pregnant?
Absolutely. Dr. Alfredo is trained in pregnanct specific techniques to ensure that your care is both safe for your baby and effective.
